Deep Water is an independent platform based in Boorloo (Western Australia) operating on stolen Aboriginal land. It functions as a record label, event series, and festival stage presented across a range of sites in Australia.
Established as a space for contemporary music, the project connects ambient electronic work, dub techno, electroacoustic composition, and jazz-informed releases through physical and digital formats, as well as curated live environments.
Alongside its core catalogue, Deep Water develops site-responsive gatherings and temporary listening structures, extending its curatorial approach beyond recorded media into spatial practice.
The platform operates independently and at a deliberate pace, prioritising long-term artistic development and dialogue across scenes.
Deep Water was founded by Jack Burton, whose own work has been released through Analogue Attic, Good Company Records, Music Company, and RAND Muzik.
